I frequently find myself at the Tide while in Friesland, especially after a long day piloting my sailplane from M&D Flugzeugbau nearby. The 24-hour concierge is a fantastic feature that suits my work-travel schedule. The rooms are well-equipped, boasting a flat-screen TV and soundproofing, which is great for winding down after a busy day. The housekeeping is attentive without being intrusive, keeping everything neat and comfortable. Breakfast? A solid spread, offering everything from local pastries to hearty options - definitely sets a good tone for the day. If you're hoping to unwind in the lobby after hours, be aware that the reception area does close in the afternoons, which might limit your downtime. In terms of overall value, the Tide strikes a balance between affordability and comfort, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers.
